A couple fresh out of rehabilitation, pledged sobriety together. However, when Bob ends the relationship, Ava relapses in despair, hallucinates, and tragically falls to her death. Confronted with grief and guilt, Bob struggles against the pull of drugs, isolating himself behind a locked door that represents both temptation and his inability to recover alone. His attempts at self-reliance fail, deepening his despair, as he “locks” himself in. It is only when he recognises and accepts the unwavering support around him that he finds the strength and courage to unlock the door, open himself up to others, and recommit to his journey of recovery, not at all alone.
