Life is a series of choices, and the one Maya lives is no exception. As a 21-year-old, she chose to introduce drugs to her life.
Before substance abuse, she had a loving mother, supportive friends and most importantly, a dream. Maya never knew how much all these had meant to her, and being high numbs her from the feelings that let her know. Her friends and family try to help, but she loses them all in the end.
