Niqmat’ a malay word that is commonly misunderstood as being something positive. The word ‘Niqmat’ refers to pain and punishment while ‘Ni’mat’ (Commonly pronounced as “Nikmat/Niqmat”) refers to blessings.
‘Niqmat’ is a film based on a bar singer who eventually falls into the trap of Drugs under the influence of financial stress. This film depicts the reality of how drugs progressively ruin a person in his entirety. With that being said, experience ‘Niqmat’ where the things that satisfies you, ends up punishing you.
