TROLLEY PROBLEM is a film exploring the themes of choice, love and relationships. With a reference to the classic ethical thought experiment of the trolley problem, the main protagonist, Julian, is torn between ending his drug addiction, or his relationship with his friends and family. The film is a glimpse into Julian’s psyche, and an exploration of the conflict within his mind. Ultimately, through self reflection, Julian finally makes the decision to press the button, an active choice in saving himself and his loved ones, ending his relationships with drugs.
