17-year-old student Janelle has a really strict mother, causing her to be isolated from her peers. To fit in, Janelle sneaks out at night to attend a party, taking ecstasy (MDMA) when offered. She starts sneaking out more, doing drugs more often, until she gets a seizure, and her mother learns that she has been doing drugs. After that, Janelle was brought to rehabilitation. With a stronger support system, she was able to recover from the withdrawal and reliance on ecstasy, and started afresh in a new school year.
