In a rundown neighbourhood, a single mother fights a daily battle against her drug addiction, while her studious, hardworking teenage daughter, Chloe, works shift after shift to support the both of them. When Chloe inevitably reaches her limit, her mother finally realises the implications of her actions, actively taking steps to change to reconcile her relationship with her daughter, such that they can return to the way things once were.
